Zotrim is a weight loss supplement manufactured by the UK based company, Natures Remedies, LTD. This product is a combination of Yerba Mate, Guarana, and Damiana. There is an official website which you can purchase Zotrim from, but the cost is listed in pounds rather than dollars.

Zotrim the weight loss supplement should not be confused with the prescription Zotrim, which is used for Urinary Tract Infections. The ingredients in these two identically named products are completely different and taken for different reasons.

Zotrim, the weight loss supplement is designed to suppress appetite and make the dieter feel fuller longer. These claims result in a reduction of calories due to eating less at meal times and eating fewer snacks.

Product Features

Zotrim contains the combination of Yerba Mate, Guarana and Damiana. It is thought that when these three herbal ingredients when taken together are said to produce weight loss results. Zotrim is supposed to be taken 3 times a day, a few minutes before meal time for the most effect. The first week 2 capsules are to be taken 3 times daily and the following weeks it is to be increased to 3 capsules before each meal. It is suggested not to exceed 9 capsules in a 24 hour time frame. When Zotrim is taken before a meal it makes you feel fuller quicker reducing the amount of food consumed. It is also suppose to reduce the need for snacks as it provides a longer satisfaction than a meal without Zotrim.

Zotrim does have side effects associated with it. First of all Guarana is a form of caffeine and Yerba Mate also contains caffeine. Caffeine in large doses can be responsible for side effects such as the jitters, increased heart rate, and high blood pressure, to name just a few. The other ingredients have not had sufficient research to determine side effects or possible interactions with other medicines. There has been a study that was not definitive showing these three ingredients when taken in combination could produce a weight loss effect.
