Xyphedra Review
What You Should Know
Xyphedra is being marketed as the herbal equivalent of ìephedra on steroidsî. Considering the number of people who died as a result of taking ephedra, the reason it was banned by the FDA, care should be taken when considering a diet/weight loss regimen that includes this product. Many critics have looked at the ingredient list and given it the nod of approval even though the exact breakdown of ingredients remains a secret hidden behind the word proprietary blend. The only thing we can learn is that the total dosage in one capsule is 500 mg.
Ingredients
Green Tea, Chocamine, Phenylethylimene, Picamilon,L-tyrosine, and L- theanine.
Product Features
Xyphedra is a powerful diet pill recommended only for use by people needing to lose at least 20 pounds. While the blend of ingredients is proprietary, meaning we do not know the exact percentages of what go into the capsules, the ingredient list is quite impressive in terms of known, effective fat burning supplements. It provides a boost in energy and works as an appetite suppressant, thus making it effective in two different ways in helping one lose weight.
Green tea is mostly caffeine, and the other ingredients are meant to act as anti-anxiety ingredients to offset the jitters caused by the caffeine, and performance enhancers.
Advantages
- Contains proven ingredients that are easily recognized by those who study diet pills in a formula that works to cause rapid weight loss.
- Increases energy so the user does not feel sluggish or fatiqued from not eating as much as normal.
- Suppresses appetite while increasing fat burning for rapid weight loss.
Disadvantages
- Contains a large amount of caffeine.
- Can cause anxiety or nervousness.
- Increase in energy may lead to a crash when the pill wears off.
- Unknown quantities of ingredients due to proprietary blend.
Conclusion
While the manufacturer claims that Xyphedra is even more effective than ephedra was before it was banned, the jury is still out. The Xyphedra website offers testimonials from people praising its performance, which is a plus, but there is not yet enough evidence to back up the claims made on the website. The list of ingredients is impressive enough, but there is no way to know how much of each ingredient goes into the dosage. It was only through a complaint from a diet pill reviewer that the total amount of active ingredients in a dose was published as being 500 mg. It is understandable that diet pill companies do not want to publish their exact formula because of copycats that could steal their formula. Yet, one must be somewhat concerned about what is going into the body and consider carefully whether or not to use a product that can not be positively identified by formula to be sure of getting a consistent dose of each ingredient every time one takes it. Current indications are that Xyphedra is an effective weight loss aid, though a physician should be consulted before beginning a weight loss program that includes this or any other supplement.
