The website explains very little about how the Womenís Renew Cleanser works in the body. There is a bit of information about the Chasteberry, Dong Quai and B Vitamins, but at the root of a cleanse are not the ingredients that support health, rather the ingredients that support cleansing.

The dandelion root extract is the most obvious cleansing ingredient. This natural diuretic will push water out of the body which can result in a bit of weight loss, but the body will restore that water in time and thus the weight will be regained. The milk thistle is a cleansing ingredient that is thought to cleanse the liver and is common in most cleansing products. Yellowdock is thought to promote healthier blood levels and corn silk a healthy urinary tract. Red clover is another diuretic.

There are no ingredients in the Womenís Renew Cleanser to stimulate the bowel, unlike other cleansing preparations, but there are at least two ingredients that stimulate urination through a diuretic effect. Many cleansers will use natural diuretics to wash the toxins out of the body.
