Wii Fit Review
What You Should Know
With the introduction of the Wii, the world instantly moved from the couch to their feet and started really playing video games again. As if the Wii wasnÃt enough, Nintendo introduced the Wii Fit to make exercise fun and active once more. The Wii Fit works with the Wii Fit board to create an interaction with the exercise video game, the user and the television screen.
The Wii Fit is one of the most popular video game accessories sold today. Does that mean the Wii Fit is the end all of weight loss products?
List of Ingredients
Wii Fit video game, Wii nunchuck, Wii controller, Wii, Wii Fit board.
Product Features
The Wii Fit game works hand in hand with the other Wii Fit controllers and the Wii Fit board. The game is animated, just as most of the Wii games are. The animation may be difficult for some users to take seriously as the game tends to bring about laughter at times more than sweat.
There is another concern when it comes to using the Wii Fit as part of a weight loss plan. The exercises are presented one by one as achievements are unlocked. At first there are only a few exercises in each category available for the user to enjoy. As the user clocks more time or achieve higher ratings on the exercises, more exercises are unlocked. This can be a downer for some users as the exercise they want to perform may not be unlocked when they start the Wii Fit game.
There is also the trouble with maintaining a raised heart rate with the Wii Fit. The Wii Fit exercises are practiced one at a time. This means one exercise could last just 2 minutes and the user will then have to choose another exercise and go through the introduction before the exercise begins. There are times on the Wii Fit when the time between the exercises is longer than the time spent performing the exercises.
Advantages
- The Wii Fit brings movement back to video gaming.
- The gentle interaction is perfect for the beginning exerciser.
Disadvantages
- Fitness is not a top priority for the Wii Fit gaming style.
- The time between exercises is too long.
- All exercises should be unlocked from the beginning.
- The game is animated and tends to be more comical than serious.
Conclusion
The Wii Fit is a wonderful creation for someone who loves to play video games and wants to be more active. However, for the person who wants to lose weight, the Wii Fit is not the perfect choice. Taking a walk outside after dinner and taking a proven fat burner and appetite suppressant will offer better results than the Wii Fit.
