Con’s
- Valerie has used Losing It to share her beliefs on politics and other topics rather than talk about weight loss.
- Her book seems more like a sob saga of infidelity and pain rather than a weight loss book.
- She has only talked about Jenny Craigís weight loss program which looks like a promotional gimmick through her book.
- People who are interested in diet books are really not looking for sob stories or stories than make them uncomfortable.
Conclusion
Valerie has used Losing It to talk about Jenny Craig and her life in general. Unlike the popular misconception, this book is not a diet plan book and only talks about what Valerie did (join Jenny Craig). Though her trials and tribulations regarding infidelity may be touching for some, you can get the same information from websites and magazines. You donít need to really spend money for that. Hence, this book is really not about a diet plan. Itís really about Valerie and Jenny Craig and addictions and infidelity. Not a recommended buy for someone who wants to get some inspiration to lose weight unless you want to join Jenny Craig!
