Ultra 90 Review

What You Should Know

The concept used by the makers of Ultra 90 is that the product does not stimulate or trick the body into weight loss, unlike other weight loss products on the market. They claim that their “breakthrough” formula feeds the body with collagen protein, Aloe Vera, Vitamin C and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) supplements that may assist the body in shedding excess fat and toxins naturally. Does collagen, an ingredient associated with muscle and ligament health, really break down fat and assist in weight loss? How does Aloe Vera and Vitamin C promote weight loss? Here’s what we found.

List of Ingredients

The Ultra 90 P.M. Formula contains: Marine Collagen Protein, Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, Safflower Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin, Bees Wax, Lecithin.

The Ultra 90 A.M Formula contains: Marine Collagen Protein, Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, Safflower Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin, Bees Wax, and Lecithin, Tonalin CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid).

The Ultra 90 Liquid Formula contains: Safflower Oil, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Marine Collagen Protein, Aloe Vera Extract, Tonalin CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) DI Water, Natural and artificial flavors, Glycerin, Sweetener, Cellulose Gum, Polysorbate 80, Potassium Sorbate.

Product Features

Ultra90 should not be considered a fat burner or appetite suppressant. However, on the official website, Ultra90 is listed under the Weight Loss Products tab. The ingredients in the product have no known benefits for promoting weight loss. When comparing the ingredients in each of the formulas, we found them to be almost identical. The biggest difference in the three is that the liquid formula has some ingredients to promote flavor. Why would one need an A.M. formula and a P.M. formula with the same ingredients? Ultra90 also has an “all sales final” policy. That means if the user is not satisfied with the product, they are stuck with it, regardless. Not a very good policy if you are convinced your product is a “breakthrough formula”.

Advantages

  • Contains no caffeine or stimulants that promote adverse side effects.

Disadvantages

  • The website does not provide sound scientific research to support their claims.
  • The product is expensive. You can get an herbal product for much less.
  • No return policy. It does not appear that Ultra90 stands behind its product.
  • Does not contain a proven fat burning component.
  • A blogging website on the product shows that previous customers are not satisfied with their purchases.

Conclusion

The website tells us that there are no known side effects with the products. This is likely due to the fact that it doesn’t have any beneficial weight loss ingredients. The makers claim that Ultra90 helps to replenish lost collagen in the body as one grows older. That’s fine, but what are its benefits? Where is the scientific research? None of this can be found on their official website. The directions for use tell you to stop eating three hours before bed and take the P.M. formula. Because many people snack during the evening hours before bed, stopping that practice will definitely help in weight loss. You do not need a handful of pills to assist you there. If you’re looking for an appetite suppressant or fat burner, you will not find it here. Ultra90 is, in our opinion, a waste of money. So many products offer decent return policies that it makes no sense to pick one that doesn’t.

Top Choice for 2009: Avesil

Avesil is clearly the most promising weight control formula we know of on the market. After looking at hundreds of different purported weight loss supplements, Avesil was the most rigorously researched one that we could find. The foundation behind the Avesil formula was an original scientific research study that incorporated an incredible 284 previously published peer-reviewed clinical studies, many conducted in university research labs. All of the product claims made about Avesil are substantiated by this large volume of research.

Unlike many fad weight loss ingredients (hoodia, acai berry, etc.) which are at best supported by folklore and at worst by pop culture, Avesil is totally rooted in disciplined scientific study. In fact, two research trials conducted on human subjects, later published in highly respected scientific journals, concluded that the primary ingredients in Avesil resulted in an average weight loss of more than 3 times that of a healthy diet and exercise alone.

Customers will notice that the claims made about Avesil are quite reasonable and not the least far-fetched. Simply put, Avesil is a safe, healthy way to promote a significant increase in weight loss when taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. In today's market there is a shamefully high number of consumers who have been deceived by outrageous "no work" promises, manufactured customer testimonials and bogus before/after pictures used by so many marketers of weight loss supplements. Avesil promises to deliver healthy, reasonable, and significant weight loss benefits - all offered through the process of a risk-free trial, leaving customers with very little to lose (other than weight).
