Snack Yourself Slim Review
What You Should Know
Snack Yourself Thin is a book written by Richard J Warburg and Tessa Lorant. The theory behind the book is a new method of weight loss that focuses less on calorie counting and diet restriction than other similar diets. On this plan you can eat foods you love to eat without fighting with hunger pangs and yo-yo dieting.
There is no official website for the Snack Yourself Thin book. The book currently sells on Amazon.com for $10.19 plus shipping handling. This price is for the paperback copy only.
List of Ingredients
Dieting plan to help people lose weight without counting calories or restricting their diet.
Product Features
According to one customer review on Amazon.com, the plan teaches the dieter to eat food every hour. This is a unique way of preventing hunger that could work, but the time it takes to plan meals for every hour of the day may be too much for some people. Looking further into the premise behind the book, one of the authors, Richard Warburg, created this plan as he was trying to shed a measly four pounds. After having tried ìeverythingî the author decided to break up his daily meals into smaller portions and continue to eat all day long. Each of the new mini-meals equaled about 100 calories and he lost 18 pounds instead of 4.
To look more closely at the process. If a dieter eats three meals a day and these meals total 1500 calories and they cannot lose weight, according to Snack Yourself Slim, those same meals can be consumed as 15 smaller meals and the weight will fall off. Even though Warburg is a PhD, there is no scientific study available to support the use of 15 meals a day as a weight loss plan. This plan also alienates the dieter from family meals thus making it hard to keep up with the diet for a long period of time without significant mental stress.
Advantages
- Eating smaller meals more frequently can curb hunger.
- The book is inexpensive.
- Information on Snack Yourself Slim is available online.
Disadvantages
- Eating between 12 and 17 meals a day is very time consuming.
- The doctor does not reference any studies that support the use of so many meals a day for easier weight loss.
- There is no official website to show testimonials of dieters who have successfully followed the plan.
- Eating 100 calories every hour will hinder family meal times.
Conclusion
There is little doubt that eating more frequently can help to curb the worst of hunger. According to most successful diets, eating three meals and two to three snacks every day is a healthy way to control blood sugar levels as well. The Snack Yourself Slim diet plan, however, takes those theories to the extreme. We tend to support the 5 to 6 meals a day with the addition of a fat burner and appetite suppressant as a great choice. This way the dieter does not have to remove themselves from the traditional family meal.
