Schwarzbein Principle Review
What You Should Know
The Schwarzbein Principle was a diet and exercise program that believes in five steps to improve your nutrition habits and heal your metabolism. The idea is to get all of your hormones in balance, by figuring out your initial starting point in the five point plan. The idea is to get insulin sensitive healthy adrenal glands to move to the healing step, then the fat burning step, and finally the healed step.
Dr. Diana Schwarzbein, MD founded The Schwarzbein Principle Institute in 1993, which specializes in metabolism, diabetes, osteoporosis, menopause and thyroid conditions. It is based on the fact that a healthy immune system starts in the GI tract. It deals with such things as hidden food allergies and harmful bacteria in the GI tract that can cause symptoms that upset imbalance in the metabolism. Through this program, there are all kinds of things you can buy, GI tests, books, supplements and vitamins and exercise videos. The Schwarzbein Principle is more of an overall health program versus a weight loss program.
List of Ingredients
It is hard to determine the list of ingredients, although the website lists all kinds of supplement packages that range from $128 to almost $500 for GI tract, antioxidant and other vitamins. It is a pretty costly program and if you have some of the problems she describes, you would be better off to take the money and go to the doctor. Once you browse through the ritzy website, the bottom line is that you can buy all kinds of things, depending on what health problems you think you have. Basically after you buy the GI test, you can be told what supplement packages you should buy, and the books and exercise videos are just icing on the cake.
Product Features
There are many different products from tests, videos, supplements and books. It appears the main basis of the program is a combination of the principles of antioxidants for the immune system, colon cleanser and balancing foods you eat to contain a more healthy content to contribute to all of the above.
Pro’s
- Founded by a doctor, and does mention metabolism and antioxidants.
- All kinds of information you can purchase about many healthy things, primarily focusing on the GI tract and glands or hormones.
Con’s
- Everything is pretty costly, and can easily run around $500, but not sure what results you can expect for that.
- Doesnít really mention too much about fat burning or thermogenic ingredients.
- Focuses on the GI tract more than specific weight loss strategies, other than exercise videos.
- No testimonials or before and after photos to substantiate anything.
- Not a well known weight loss diet, and not sure from the website what the focus is other than GI tract health and being ìhealedî.
Conclusion
It is hard to say that the Schwarzbein Principle would be recommended, other than for those that have GI tract problems, possibly. It appears to be a costly program, and not one that focuses on weight loss, contains thermogenics or other weight loss ingredients, recipes or principles.
