Quantum Wellness Review
What You Should Know
Quantum Wellness is a book written by Kathy Freston. The book has received popularity from the fact that Oprah used this book for her 21 day gluten free vegan cleanse and that the author appeared on her show. It is really hard to say if the book Quantum Wellness is supposed to serve as a self help book for those who are having trouble dealing with food issues or health issues or if it is meant to be a diet.

Product Features
The book basically rides on the fact that there are eight different ìpillarsî to wellness: Meditation, Visualization, Fun activities, Conscious eating, Exercise, Self-work, Spiritual practice, and Service. These eight pillars are then followed by four R’s: Regular, Relate, Rejuvenate, and Reach. Regular means tending to your responsibilities each day; Relate is working on your relationships; Rejuvenate and Reach are to do work to make sure you evolve as a person. While these are excellent principles, one reviewer of the book states that it is missing support and forgiveness, two things that are absolutely necessary to healing and health.
Where you will be able to find this book differs on the merchant’s ideas behind the book. Some stores place in a self-help category, with others place it in a diet and weight loss category. Each merchant chooses what it believes its best selling points are and places it where they believe it will do the best.
What kind of book it is to you will depend on how you look at it and how you take the information in and what you decide to do with it. We believe it is predominately a self-help book with diet thrown in where the conscious eating is concerned.
Advantages
- This book addresses overall health with nutrition.
- This book is available from several merchants both online and in brick and mortar conventional stores.
Disadvantages
- This book may be more of a self-help book than a diet and nutrition book.
- It will take more than reading the book to help people lose weight and make themselves feel better.
Conclusion
If you are interested in changing your overall lifestyle to make it better and healthier, this book may be of great help to you. If you’re looking for something that consists primarily of food advice and recipes to help you lose weight, this is not going to be what you are looking for. Chances are this book contains some very good information for everyone, but in the end, we fear that it will be placed on a shelf to collect dust. We are disappointed that this book could not be better classified for our audience and readers.
