Pink Patch Review
What You Should Know
The Pink Patch is a product that was invented in the United Kingdom and then later introduced to the United States. It is stated that it was developed for the purpose of assisting with weight loss. In this review we will examine the information that is available to us in order to determine whether or not this product could be effective.
Ingredients
The ingredients that were listed on the website were Fucus Vesiculosus, 5-HTP, Guarana, Zinc Pyruvate, Yerba Mate, Flaxseed Oil, Lecithin, and L-Carnitine.
Product Features
The Pink Patch appears to be a patch that you wear that sticks to your skin and delivers it’s ingredients into your system by being absorbed through the skin. It is supposed to decrease your appetite, boost your metabolism, create a higher energy level, and give you a sense of well being. The patch only needs to be changed once every 24 hours because this is how long the effects are supposed to last.
Fucus Vesiculosus is an ingredient that is derived from a type of seaweed that can be found on the coasts of the North Sea. In the 1860’s it was claimed that it could be used as a thyroid stimulant and could help reduce weight by stimulating the metabolism.
5-HTP is said to be an amino acid that is naturally occurring. It is said that it can be used as an antidepressant, appetite suppressant, and sleep aid.
Zinc Pyruvate is shown to increase stamina. The reason for this ingredient perhaps is to possibly help increase the stamina while exercising, but it is not made clear on the website so we cannot say for sure.
Yerba mate is said to be a safer alternative to the currently banned ingredient Ephedra. It is said to have the same type of benefits, but without all of the harmful side effects.
Flaxseed Oil, we believed is used in this product in order to give the body the feeling of fullness after eating without having eat as much food. It is considered to be a “good fat” that can actually help prevent what other fats can cause.
Advantages
- This product may help you lose weight.
- The company offers free samples so that you can try it before you buy it.
Disadvantages
- This product seems to be focused on selling to young women
- It appears as though this product can become expensive over time.
- There is no explanation of how it is supposed to benefit for long term weight maintenance after the patch is no longer needed.
Conclusion
While this product may appear to have some good qualities about it, there appear to be a few draw backs. The first thing is that it seems to be targeted directly toward women. Some men may not want to wear a pink patch for weight loss purposes due to the fact that it is traditionally considered to be a female color. Aside from the fact that it is pink, this product also appears to be slightly expensive. One may assume that since it is not necessary to change the patch but once a day, then it may be less expensive to use. The Pink Patch offers no information or support for the product compared to other weight loss aids with the same ingredient list. We tend to support a weight loss aid that is open for all people who want to lose weight and those with an active fat burner.
