Murad Review

What You Should Know

Murad is an antiaging company that offers a cellulite cream and skin toning supplement pack for people who want to reduce the look of cellulite on the skin. Many cellulite creams are created with caffeine that draws the water out from in between the fat cells and thus creates a smoother looking skin that appears a bit smaller and less ìfattyî. These creams are not a weight loss product despite the fact that they are promoted in the weight loss realm.

There is an official website for the Murad cellulite product as well as the other Murad antiaging solutions. The website offers free shipping and handling on all orders over $50.00. The Cellulite Solutions available from Murad retail from between $137.50 a month to more than $214.00 a month.

Product Features

The first thing people may notice about the Murad products is the huge list of ingredients. When a company creates a supplement or cellulite cream with such a long list of ingredients, it can appear to the consumer that the manufacturer is trying to hide something. Looking through the ingredient lists there are a few key ingredients that could use a bit more in depth explanation.

The skin creams contain several alcohols which can cause more skin irritation than cellulite reduction. The lack of caffeine in the ingredient list is also a bit different from other cellulite reducing creams. However, Citrus Aurantium is on the list and that is also known as synephrine. Synephrine is a sister to ephedra and is known to cause the same side effects as ephedra. Salicyclic acid is another ingredient that has been known to cause skin irritation when used in antiaging products. There is no precedence for using this acid in a cellulite cream as it is often used for acne prevention.

The price of this cellulite series of products is far more expensive than many people can afford. Many cellulite products of this nature require extended use to keep the skin appearing smoother on a constant basis which can lead to thousands of dollars spent on reducing the ìlookî of cellulite over a year.

Advantages

  • The official website lists all ingredients in the Murad cellulite products.
  • The products can be ordered directly from the website.

Disadvantages

  • Several alcohols in a topical cream can cause skin irritation.
  • Salicyclic acid is not tolerated by every user.
  • Synephrine or Citrus Aurantium is thought to cause health problems similar to ephedra.

Conclusion

At this time supporting the Murad cellulite products is not something we care to do. The products are full of ingredients that are skin irritants. Cellulite creams are also known to provide only short term effects and these effects are not weight loss oriented. There are proven ingredients that can help the dieter lose more weight and these are not included in the Murad line of products.

Top Choice for 2010: Avesil

Avesil is clearly the most promising weight control formula we know of on the market. After looking at hundreds of different purported weight loss supplements, Avesil was the most rigorously researched one that we could find. The foundation behind the Avesil formula was an original scientific research study that incorporated an incredible 284 previously published peer-reviewed clinical studies, many conducted in university research labs. All of the product claims made about Avesil are substantiated by this large volume of research.

Unlike many fad weight loss ingredients (hoodia, acai berry, etc.) which are at best supported by folklore and at worst by pop culture, Avesil is totally rooted in disciplined scientific study. In fact, two research trials conducted on human subjects, later published in highly respected scientific journals, concluded that the primary ingredients in Avesil resulted in an average weight loss of more than 3 times that of a healthy diet and exercise alone.

Customers will notice that the claims made about Avesil are quite reasonable and not the least far-fetched. Simply put, Avesil is a safe, healthy way to promote a significant increase in weight loss when taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. In today's market there is a shamefully high number of consumers who have been deceived by outrageous "no work" promises, manufactured customer testimonials and bogus before/after pictures used by so many marketers of weight loss supplements. Avesil promises to deliver healthy, reasonable, and significant weight loss benefits - all offered through the process of a risk-free trial, leaving customers with very little to lose (other than weight).
