Monavie Review
What You Should Know
Known popularly as the miracle juice in a bottle, MonaVie is a wholesaler of only one exclusive product — their MonaVie drinks infused with Acai Berry. Since its start in 2005, the company has made over one billion dollars offering this exclusive product to their distributors who privately sell these bottles to individuals seeking the cures MonaVie claims to offer. Among its many claimed benefits are maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and helping supplement an active dietary lifestyle with several varieties, including an Active version of their MonaVie Acai Berry drink. This is only available through distributors, or if you have the dedication, by selling these products for MonaVie as part of their distributor contract.
MonaVie emphasizes its antioxidant-rich balance as the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but critics are lashing against this company for secretive practices — and perhaps a drink that does not offer these claimed benefits.
Ingredients
Acai Berry, Cupuacu, Camu Camu, Aronia, Acerola, Blueberry, Bilberry, and Pomegranate juices.
Product Features
When it comes to antioxidants, MonaVie is quick to claim how these antioxidants offer numerous benefits, including reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and naturally energizing the body. Their Active blend is specifically formulated for those on the go, claiming to energize the body while delivering antioxidant benefits for complete health rejuvenation. None of these ingredients actually offer any weight loss benefits such as stimulating thermogenic processes or helping boost the metabolism. While supplementing a healthy lifestyle with vitamins and antioxidants isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it does not actually help dieters lose weight or help fight off cravings. It would be helpful if MonaVie included more ingredients geared towards dieters.
Its nutritional benefits cannot be denied, however, and although many are skeptical about its other claims (such as curing cardiovascular problems), it does appear to contain a handful of nutritional antioxidants.
Advantages
- Contains an abundance of nutrients and antioxidants, mostly present in their Acai Berry extract.
- Appears to be an all natural product with few “synthetic” ingredients.
Disadvantages
- Can only be obtained through a MonaVie distributor or by joining their service.
- May not contain substantial diet-related benefits.
- For nearly $40 a bottle, this is not a cheap choice for dieters.
Conclusion
MonaVie may offer the rare Acai Berry in their exclusive antioxidant drink, but the biggest concern here is if these ingredients will help dieters reach their weight loss goals. It does not appear to contain any ingredients that stimulate thermogenesis — it is only suggested it may contain “energizing” properties to keep dieters’ energy up. Combined with the difficulty and expense of purchase, it may not be the first choice for dieters. There are certainly plenty of nutritional benefits evident in their proprietary blend, however.
