Freshology Review

What You Should Know

Freshology is a prepared meal service that allows the dieter to order meals that will meet specific dietary guidelines for weight loss. There is an official website for Freshology. The website pushes the connection between television station Extra and the Freshology meals. The specifc weight loss program marketed by Freshology is the Get Slim program. The program delivers fresh meals every day for $37.95 a day plus shipping and handling as long as you live within one of the covered states.

List of Ingredients

Prepared meals focused on keeping calories low and increasing weight loss.

Product Features

The Freshology program is currently available in 29 states on both the east coast and the west coast. There are three different delivery plans for the Freshology meal program. These include having 14 days of food delivered over 4 delivery days and 28 days of food delivered over 8 delivery days.

There is no option to change the foods listed on the Freshology website as a part of the program meals. We did notice there was no fish, aside from one serving of clam chowder, in any of the meals. There are no available food allergy warnings to tell the consumer the foods are safe for people with food allergies.

The cost of $37.95 per day is very expensive. Cooking for yourself will cost far less than $37,95 every day. At this daily cost, the monthly cost will add up to more than $1200 with shipping and handling. There are two other dining options for weight loss with Freshology. These are the FitDining and FitLite. Each of these programs are more expensive than the Get Slim program. There are no calorie counts listed on any of the food choices in the Freshology program.

Advantages

  • Prepared meals are a convenience.
  • The calories are controlled for the dieter.

Disadvantages

  • The cost of the program is outrageous.
  • There are no calorie counts listed on the website.
  • No food allergy warnings could be found.
  • No food ingredient lists could be found.
  • There are no supplements mentioned as part of the plan.

Conclusion

Prepared meals are a quick and easy way to lose weight. All the dieter needs to do is eat the food that is delivered every day and they will, according to the website, lose more weight. The cost of the food, however is a big turn off. Paying more than $1200 a month for food on the lowest pricing plan is just too much for most dieters. There is also the lack of ingredient listings that could put some dieters at risk if there are ingredients included that they are allergic to. There is no mention of supplements and we tend to support the use of clinically proven fat burners and appetite suppressants.

Top Choice for 2010: Avesil

Avesil is clearly the most promising weight control formula we know of on the market. After looking at hundreds of different purported weight loss supplements, Avesil was the most rigorously researched one that we could find. The foundation behind the Avesil formula was an original scientific research study that incorporated an incredible 284 previously published peer-reviewed clinical studies, many conducted in university research labs. All of the product claims made about Avesil are substantiated by this large volume of research.

Unlike many fad weight loss ingredients (hoodia, acai berry, etc.) which are at best supported by folklore and at worst by pop culture, Avesil is totally rooted in disciplined scientific study. In fact, two research trials conducted on human subjects, later published in highly respected scientific journals, concluded that the primary ingredients in Avesil resulted in an average weight loss of more than 3 times that of a healthy diet and exercise alone.

Customers will notice that the claims made about Avesil are quite reasonable and not the least far-fetched. Simply put, Avesil is a safe, healthy way to promote a significant increase in weight loss when taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. In today's market there is a shamefully high number of consumers who have been deceived by outrageous "no work" promises, manufactured customer testimonials and bogus before/after pictures used by so many marketers of weight loss supplements. Avesil promises to deliver healthy, reasonable, and significant weight loss benefits - all offered through the process of a risk-free trial, leaving customers with very little to lose (other than weight).
