Chitogold is a product manufactured by New Life Products International. This product is back on the shelves after being revamped. The new formula is supposed to be more effective than the original Chitogold formula. The new formula still uses Chitosan to absorb fat and block itís absorption into the body but it has also added ingredients such as Hoodia to stimulate the body and suppress hunger.

Ingredients

The ingredients included in Chitogold are: Green Tea Leaf Extract (40 mg Caffeine), Citrus Aurantium Extract (6% Synepherine) (immature fruit), NeOpuntia (nopal cactus leaf), Chitosan (Marine Fiber Concentrate), Hydrangea Root, Banana Leaf Extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa) (1% corosollic acid), Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf Extract (25% Gymnemic Acid), Buchu Leaf, Cornsilk, Couchgrass, Hoodia gordonii cactus extract (aerial parts), Juniper Berry, Uva Ursi Leaf, and Garcinia Cambogia (50% Hydroxycitric Acid) (fruit).

Product Features

The original Chitogold formula used Chitosan to help absorb fat and reduce the amount of fat absorbed by the body. This new formula of Chitogold still uses Chitosan which act as a fat absorber. In fact Chitosan is an all natural product that is derived from the crushed shells of shellfish like shrimp and lobster. The new Chitogold formula also uses NeOpuntia, which is also suppose to be an even more powerful fat absorber. This product is derived from the nopal cactus leaf. The main focus of the Chitogold as a weight loss product seems to center around the products ability to prevent fat absorption rather than providing a powerful fat burner or a strong appetite suppressant. In fact when looking at the list of ingredients included in Chitogold the main ingredients appears to be a stimulant in the dorm of Green Tea Leaf Extract with 40 mg of caffeine per pill.

When looking at weight loss supplements it is important to know exactly what you are taking and do a through research on the products and the companies producing the products. Through this research it has been discovered that the Chitogold product has had legal issues related to their labeling of product. This maybe the reason for the release of the new Chitogold formula. While Chitogold uses many natural herbs and ingredients in their Chitogold product this may not be the best product available on the market for weight loss. This product does not appear to have a fat burner only a fat absorber. Here does not appear to be a formal website dedicated to Chitogold with hoodia or any of the other Chitogold products. Consumers should be looking towards a weight loss supplement with a dedicated website and which discloses a full list of ingredients. There doe not need to be a long list of ingredients to make a product powerful, it simply needs a list of proven ingredients to show its effectiveness as a powerful weight loss supplement. Chitogold falls short on every count as a weight loss supplement.
