Cardiometabolic Support Network Review
What You Should Know
Before the introduction of weight loss supplements onto the common market, there were doctorís diet plans to lose weight. Dr Louis Aronne has taken these doctorís diet plans and tweaked them a bit to fit in with the Internet based nature of today. The Cardiometabolic Support Network is a weight loss group open to people with a BMI of 27 or higher. This group meets online with registered dieticians and with each other in order to lose weight. The product is also designed to work hand in hand with a doctorís care regarding weight loss.
The cost of the program is $239 for 12 weeks of online connection. This price is huge figuring there are many free weight loss websites and dietician websites with information online. This cost will be in addition to the price the dieter pays for the doctorís visits.

Product Features
The use of the higher BMI to ìqualifyî for the program is unique. The only other weight loss option that includes such a restriction is weight loss surgery. Dr Aronne has written books on weight loss and turned that knowledge into an online program that uses a support network as the starting point for weight loss. According to the mission statement, the program looks at only one pound at a time and works to eliminate that pound before starting on the next one.
There are three meal plans available with the Cardiometabolic Support Network. These are the Healthy Balance Plan, Healthy Heart Plan and the Healthy Portions Plan. The Healthy Portions Plan offers the dieter meal replacements that can be purchased online through the Cardiometabolic Support Network. Most of the plans include three meals and two snacks a day.
When reading the online information, we noticed the dieters are referred to as ìpatientsî. This could be very confusing to the dieter who may believe they are paying to be a patient of Dr Aronne. This is NOT the case. The plan is supposed to be used in conjunction with YOUR doctor and not Dr Aronne.
Advantages
- The program is completed 100% online.
Disadvantages
- The price of the program is outrageous.
- The program supports the interaction of the family doctor with the online care.
- There are no testimonials on the website.
- The dieters are referred to as patients.
Conclusion
Peer support is essential to weight loss, but online peer support is free. There are forums and websites that offer information via a dietician for no cost. We have yet to figure out why the consumer is paying so much for tools that are available free. We support using peer connections in combination with a good diet plan, healthy exercise and proven supplements to lose weight for less cost than this program.
