The makers of Acomplia, Sanofi-Aventis, is a French Pharmaceutical company. Acomplia has not been cleared for sales in the United States although they had been in the process before negative studies came out and the FDA discontinued its approval process. There have been serious complications associated with Acomplia and has been discontinued in many of the countries it was once available in.
